My Sweet Babies...

So, I know this doesn't have anything to do with Paper Crafting but I had to share some of my favorite pictures on my sweet girls.
My sweet Carley Cat when she was a kitten.
This was so funny!  When I got my new dishwasher, the bottom rack was on the floor to go into the dumpster but it became Carley's favorite toy so I had to keep it.  Thank goodness she finally out grew this toy!
Nothing like Miles tail all over you while taking a nap, glad I'm not the only one she does that to!
My little Havana Brown isn't so little anymore.  I think she seems so big now because she was so young when we rescued her because she is over a year old now and still half the size of Miles.  She is also not so pleased with my photo shoots of her anymore either.
Miles holds on to her favorite toy so Carley can't get a chance to play with it.

Crayon Wreath

So, I thought this would make the best "name plate" for my classroom door.  It took FOREVER but I was so happy when it was finished.  I still need to put the "Ms Rickman" blocks on it but other than that, it's finished.

I love my "S"...

One of the things I collect are letter "S"'s.  This use to be the wall in my bedroom, because it's all about me you know.
Most of these were made by Secret Sister's I had at one time or another from Split Coast Stampers website.

CTMH

I just realized that I keep referring to CTMH and maybe not all of you know what I am taking about so I thought I should fill you in.  CTMH is short for Close to My Heart.  It is a home based business I'm an independent consultant for.  They sell the best paper, stickers, ink and best of all clear acrylic stamps!  I have a website if you'd like to check them out, you can even place an order on my site if you find something you MUST have!  ;)  I'll have to report more about CTMH to you in two weeks after I get back from Convention at Disney in California.  We get a sneak peak at all the new products coming out in August!

The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From the Tree...

I just loved this poster so much after we made it1  When I was an intern, we wanted to introduce all the interns that semester to everyone so we made this poster.  Dose it not totally have a scrapbookers influence or what...
We hung it on the wall right when you walked into the school before getting to the office.  It seemed to work because I would hear students say things after I walked by in the hall like, "that is Ms. Rickman, she is in Ms. Littke's class, I saw her picture on the poster".

More than just art projects...

Did you know that you can do so much more with stamping and paper crafting than making cards, pages, and embellishing items? This is a project I did for my classroom.  We were learning about 3D shapes so the assignment was to bring in something and then define which shape category we talked about it would fit into.  Then we had a "Shape Museum" in our room for the week.  I took pictures and then made a poster to share the experience with parents during conferences.  Everything I used, came from my scrap supplies.  I just love my CTMH Solo Alpha Letters for projects like this.
